How did you get into drawing sketch cards?
I was first introduced to sketch cards by my mentor, my man, artist Randy Martinez. He invited me to collaborate with him on a set he was working on with Topps. I really enjoyed working on the set with him! Working on the set with Randy Martinez inspired me to submit samples of my work directly to Topps and they gave me my first sketch card gig working on the Indiana Jones Masterpieces set.

What is your favorite subject to draw?
I love drawing everything, especially when it involves science fiction, fantasy, comic book characters, peace, love, Rock and Roll!  Star Wars, Avatar, Godzilla, my original characters, Musicians, superheroes… I love to draw it all!

What is your favorite character to draw?
My favorite character to draw is the Ambassador Of Peace, Wonder Woman!

Do you prefer black & white sketches or color sketches?
I have to say, I really LOVE color! ! I especially LOVE playing with bright colors! I love experimenting with color combinations to help capture my mood with the scene I’m trying to create.

What kind of materials do you prefer to work with?
When working on sketch cards, for the pack pulls I like using o.7 Sakura 127 pencils & micron pens and Prismacolor markers for color. For my returns I like using all of the above plus Holbein paint, beads, sparkles, and more!
